Kenji received professional design training from Japan in early nineties and has graduated with a distinction in Master of Design from Curtin University of Technology, Australia.
As M.A.D. School’s Academic Director, Kenji has accumulated more than 10 years of professional teaching experience as a design educator and 20 years of relevant job experiences as a creative practitioner in the graphic design, branding, advertising, packaging, publishing and printing industries.
With Kenji’s passion for teaching, mentorship and engagement with his students over the last few years, he has personally nurtured and groomed many successful design practitioners and designpreneurs. To date, his past students have won more than 100 local and international awards and recognition from Singapore, Germany, Canada, United Kingdom and America.

Robert Gaxiola

Head of Creative (SEA & India) of Ampverse
Currently the Head of Creative (SEA & India) for Ampverse, Gax was the creative half of breakaway agency Mangham/Gaxiola. The former Ogilvy Executive Creative Director left his post in 2012 to start his own shop with a handful of staff and one client. The agency later entered into a purchase agreement with the Dentsu Aegis Network in 2015 and has since added the name mcgarrybowen to their names on the door. Clients Include: AMEX, INTEL, Fidelity, Expedia, Hyundai and M1.
A graduate of the prestigious ArtCenter, College of Design the native Californian has been in Singapore for nearly twenty years. During that time, he’s worked as the Executive Creative Director for Bates, Batey, FCB and Ogilvy. He only left Singapore once to work at famed Goodby Silverstein and Partners in San Francisco.
Shei Wah

As Managing Director of digital agency NEO360, Shei Wah aims to establish the agency in all of the world’s major cities. Even as he works toward this goal, Shei Wah also dreams of his children’s future happiness and unwinds by doing callisthenics with his former school buddies three times a week.
A mechanical engineer by training who graduated from the Nanyang Technological University and with over 15 years of experience working in Start-Ups, SMEs and MNCs, he has also driven sales revenue and leads across the Asia Pacific region. Shei Wah was one of the SEO Speakers at the first Search Engine Strategies Conference 2011 held in Singapore.

Chelsea is currently with UOB TMRW Digital as the VP, Design Lead. Before this, she was working with PayPal as the UX Lead in APAC and Citibank on their FinTech in the APC region.
She has a strong record of designing transformative user experiences at organizations across various industries including government, financial institutions, and education. Designing to her is about weaving intention into a seamless, transcendent experience.
Daniel Ng

Spending more than 25 years in senior marketing positions, Daniel has in-depth knowledge on B2B marketing on both traditional and digital platforms for companies with the like of IBM, Microsoft, Cloudera, CommVault Systems, etc.
Currently the Senior Director of Marketing for Cloudera APAC, Daniel's role includes end-to-end marketing; from strategy development to execution, encompassing RTMs of channels and direct in the enterprise and SMB space, championing GTM strategies including traditional and digital approaches.

Graduated with a Masters of Science in Computing and Information Systems from the National University of Singapore, Hendry's current edu-passion lies in Hackalogy - a digital vehicle whose mission is to equip business owners with digital skills to grow their business and developing new agency business owners.

He is also a winner of the prestigious D&AD Yellow Pencil Award, along with 4 silvers at the 2012 Crowbar Awards.

Apart from helping Gatorade and Snapple launch in Singapore, Hamzah was also part of the team that created local iconic brands like Lorenzo, SK Jewellery and Moneymax. Furthermore, he was also instrumental in leading O2 Advertising's unusual 18-year brand and communication co-brand custodial partnership role for the Estee Lauder Companies' cosmetics brands which include Estee Lauder, Clinique, M.A.C, Bobbi Brown, La Mer and Lab Series for Men. Hamzah also helped the local indie digital creative shop Section converge with Offline.

As a well-rounded and multi-faceted communication & brand specialist, his capabilities also include strategic planning, brand and agency management.
Colin Lee

Senior Design at Creative Eateries
Colin Lee’s 1st foray into graphic design was as a freelance designer in 2003; designing brochures and flyers. That was also when his love for photography developed and he started honing his skills for photography while on his job assignments. After that, he made a commitment to delve into the industry, accepting a wide range of assignments and increasing the breadth of his experience. At the same time, he enrolled himself into Inspiration Design International Where he graduated with a Diploma (High Distinction). Colin is extremely proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash and Freehand in the Mac environment and an equally competent sharpshooter.

Johanna Tay has an addiction for learning which was not so evident during her years of milling around the English Language Department of the National University of Singapore. Besides teaching, Johanna is involved in mentoring - volunteering with NUSS-NUS Mentorship Programme AY2020/21 and Advisory Mentorship because she has benefited from the mentorship of others. She has also been running a real estate agency business since 2018, learning the different business concerns of Small-Medium Enterprises during the course of her work. For her day job, she is part of a team at the European Chamber of Commerce, Singapore where she manages events and assists businesses of different sizes and industries, (mainly Multinational Corporations of European origins) in branding, marketing and advocacy work.
Barry Seah

Barry is a member of the professional photographers association (singapore). As a lead photographer in commercial and photography works, he is featured as one of the Canon EOS Professionals in commercial photography, and was also the official photographer for Singapore Manhunt 2013, covering the event shots and portraits of the winners/sponsors. With his knowledge in photography equipment in and out of the studio, Barry also conducts tutorial workshops on hands on photography, as well as branding talks.

With almost 20 years of experience in the industry, Kris has played crucial roles in agency environments, leading her own teams. She has also shared her passion and knowledge with students during her term as a lecturer in Visual Communication modules. Kris has firmly embraced the digital-oriented communication of the 21st century and has created digital campaigns with notable clients like Yahoo, Health Promotion Board, SAP and Unilever, to name a few.
Jayaprakash Bojan

National Geographic Award-winning Nature and Wildlife Photographer
Throughout his career in photography, Jaya has been constantly featured by Natgeo, BBC, several other international magazines, and in a live TV interview with BBC talking about his award-winning images. His passion for nature and wildlife photography has also led him to work on conservation and he currently works with Orangutan Allianze, an NGO that creates awareness on the plight of the orang-utans and habitat destruction in Borneo.

Since landing himself a photography assistant role in a local giant publishing house – Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) Magazines. He built a solid foundation as an assistant and eventually taking on shoots without the need of supervision for titles such as Nuyou, Her World, Home & Décor, The Peak, etc.
Mark went on to another local media powerhouse, Mediacorp, and gained valuable insights on the differences in editorial shoots. During his tenure as an in-house photographer, he is exposed to many opportunities and build a wide spectrum of portfolio ranging from food, fashion to portraits, local and regional celebrities and magazine covers. His effort is visible on 8 Days, i-Weekly, Motherhood and many other titles.
Robert Christobal

Robert has worked with Southeast Asian-based organisations such as International Worship Institute Asia, Asian for Christ Movement, (AMEMA) Asia, Middle East, Micronesia & African region of his home church, Huper International, Malaya Kids Ministries, JIL Church Worldwide, ONE Singapore and also worked with US-based organization Raise Up Children Against Poverty.
He then took on the position of Project Executive in Turquoise before moving to Myles & More. He was then exposed to story-centric corporate videos and has managed projects such as The Bible Society of Singapore, ARPC Documentary, Our Better World and corporate videos for SMRT, Standard Chartered & OCBC. He was recently named top 15 finalist of Our Good Story Asia competition in Singapore.

Having based his practice in the local landscape today, he is working towards both a solo and group show in Singapore.

His first lecturing assignment in 1998, was with the Singapore Institute of Management where he conducted lectures in Cross-Cultural Management for students from the Copenhagen Business School who came to Singapore for their summer school programme.

Muhammad Hairul, graduated from Loughborough University with an honours in Graphic Communication. He espouses the belief that graphic design is about visual problem solving, and meeting the needs of the client. He will not teach students how to make something look cool, he will, however, teach the students how to sell a product or an idea visually in a captivating way. Mr Hairul intends to compel students to understand the heavy responsibility of the designer to do justice towards their design, their passion and most importantly to themselves.
